It's true, just like how Kadri has 3 points in 3 games but all anyone is talking about is how he keeps getting swapped with Bolland. - MapleLeafsFTW
Yup. I'm actually surprised by how well Bolland and Raymond are doing. Nonis done well. Kadri will get going soon enough too. he already is, but he's not quite as noticable as we're used to |

Leafs fans. No patience. - UsernameUnknown
It's true, too many of our fans are casual fans which is cool, but it's the ones who are casual fans but act like they are die hards and start making up opinion based off of no real evidence and it hurting the image of our wonderful franchise.
I guarantee you there is someone out there right now talking about how Gardiner is a plug and needs to be traded, and has watched him play 2 maybe 3 games. |

He's looked good to me, he's even broken a few plays up in the defensive zone. He may not be playing his best hockey but he's still doing just fine, I know what you mean though, once he gets going he'll be that much better. |

It's not the fans hating his game....it's Carlyle hating his game. - stormey
Uh, isn't it more like other teams are calling about him because he has not had a good start and we have some missing forwards at the moment.
Gardiner won't be traded for a stop gap to our forward situation, especially since that situation is likely to be short term.
I don't see the desparation to trade Gardiner at all. If they do have thoughts about trading him, I imagine it would be when teams may be more desparate... Philly would be a good example. They sure didn't want to trade JVR for Schenn, until desparation set it.
The Leafs are nowhere near desparate to get rid of Gardiner.

How many Naugas does it take to make a Nauga Hide. - bixll
A native Canadian woman went to the market to buy some rugs for her kids (two sets of twin boys) to play on.
She ended up buying a hippopotamus rug and two bear rugs. She placed one of the older twins and one of the younger twins on the hippopotamus rug, and the other two kids on the bear rugs.
So the sons of the squaw on the hippopotamus were equal to the sons of the squaw on the other two hides. |

First off Gudbranson has a lot in common with Luke Schenn. And Dumba is more of an adventure with and without the puck then Gardiner. |

Oh I agree they are not desperate and I doubt they move him just for a pick....unless there is something going on behind the scenes.
Still he looked great to end the year two years ago and spent last season in the A.
The he looked great in the playoffs last year....only to be getting bottom 2 ice time this year.
Obviously the speculation is that he isn't a Carlyle favorite. |

If Carlyle/Nonis is really serious about moving him, is he looking for a youth for youth type of deal, or someone established who can step in right away you think? |
