This is how Toronto ruins careers.
Option A: Put an unreasonable amount of pressure on young players, expecting them to perform at an elite level 100% of the time.
Option B: Identify a weakness in a player and ride them into the dirt. When a player falters even slightly in Toronto, they're like a wounded deer stumbling into a pack of wolves. |

I'm pretty sure that any NHL goaltender stops that shot 95% of the time.
I mean, I realize that some people have already found their new savior (and goat) 3 games into the season, but that's no reason to abandon common sense here.
It was a mistake and I'm sure Bernier would admit as much. Both goalies are going to have their ups and downs this year, which makes this Reimer/Bernier debate all the more discouraging.
Come on, Leafs Nation. We should be better than this. - Leeman4Gilmour
Reimer drops down all the time and any goalie that does that would have got beat by the shot. So yes reimer would have let that in because he would have been in the same position as Bernier was. |

Agreed... but he put up amazing numbers behind a Leafs team that was playing actual defense.
I don't quite know what these guys are doing right now. |

Reimer is a good goalie. The numbers don't. I have always been a big defender of him. |

The worst defender on the team.. even behind Ranger.. Reilly is the number 4... as a 19 yr old.. with this defence he could climb.. to number one.. just by knowing how to clear the zone..

Can't we just direct all of this towards Bozak? We can all live in peace if we do. |
