Not to sound like sour grapes but of the 7 goals scored against the Sabres he's been on the ice for 4 of them. Has one assist.
The boy doesn't understand defense at all. It's surprising because he was very responsible in Jr. - bloatedmosquito
Are we talking about Hodgson? SOB better pull it together. I only picked a BUF player for my fantasy team because he is 1st line and 1st pp unit. |

Gardner can barely play in the NHL, Myers can barely play top minutes right now. Little bit of a difference - sbroads24
Except in the NHL playoffs it seems |

Wow, you guys are about is nieve is Edmonton was with Hemsky. Gardiner will be LUCKY to fetch you a 2nd round pick. Lucky.
Gudbranson, Dumba - gimme a break. These are high end draft picks with high end potential...Gardiner has one good stretch of games 1.5 years ago and now he fights for ice time and is constantly in the dumps with Carlyle....I think a 2nd may even be a stretch...
I seem to remember these unrealistic expectations for return in Edm when they thought Hemsky would fetch a first or 2nd + prospect...
Be realistic. - BodyCheckRadio
Oh lord. a past his prime Kaberle got us a second, a first round pick, and a former first round prospect.
Gardiner has terrific PM skills. Teams will line-up for him. They saw what he could do in the playoffs.
You're delusional if you think a guy that's only 23 with his skill and his cheap contract is near worthless. |

Yes, Hodgson.
He'll get his points but will be a minus player by seasons end.

I really hate the media.
All of this Gardiner trade talk stems from HNIC saying teams have asked about Gardiner. - RogerRoeper
Agreed. It's turned into "teams calling" to "Carlyle hates Gardiner" to "Leafs shopping gardiner"
Mackenzie didn't really want to talk about gardiner.... brought up other names - Fraser and Gunner. |

Fraser does make sense. He isn't going to fetch much, but I can see a lot of teams wanting him. |

Yeah like all the talk that because of puck possesssion stats, the Leafs will be bottom 5 in the NHl this season.
And this, because of two guys who we lost that took much smaller roles last season and the team made the playoffs. When they had more prominent roles (Grabovski/Macarthur) the Leafs were bottom 5 - RogerRoeper
EXACTLY. When Grabbo & Mac had bigger on the roles prior to last season, the Leafs kept missing the playoffs. Last year they had diminished roles the Leafs make the playoffs. Let's do the math, the proof is in the pudding. Leafs won't miss Grabbo or Mac. |

Yup. It's quite an embarrassing argument. The Leafs were far better with both on the 3rd line than as top 6 forwards.
There was actually a blog on here saying due to possession stats, the Leafs were worse than Calgary |

He's playing with Thomas " I don't know what back checking is" Vanek.
But Hodgson has looked very bad the 1st 3 games |
