I am in the same group. I just dont think his message is getting through anymore and he is lacking innovation. I think there just needs to be a change with coaching and the front office.

HEXTALL FOR GM!

- justahockeyguy2

Now now... I realize I have am a brilliant EA sports NHL hockey GM but I already have a job...oh wait... you meant the real Hextall hahaha

Which is why some fans are freaking out a little bit. I still think the flyers could use another binaries sniper, but right now it is what it is and they all need to work a little harder. Make your own luck.

everyone could use another top 6 guy though. there are so many guys on this flyers team with 20 goal potential. it surely isnt for lack of talent or skill. giroux, voracek, hartnell, simmonds, read, vinny.

I seriously was more worried about our d before the season.. I thought we'd score like crazy. Boy was I wrong.

more so than any other concern for me is giroux... he has been missing since early last season now. i know his points somehow managed to get up there last season but he was 'missing' in most of those games.... and it continues this season. I guess I just miss the old giroux that would single-handedly take over games.

Any room on there for me? I'm not really a Lavy hater, but I feel like something has to change.

I'm not really thrilled with him but if he's putting up points he's kinda not missing...

After Snider technically passes away.

Who would be next in line to replace him?

So then what are the expectations of the top 6? I mean you say everyone could use another rope 6 guy, then name 6 guys who could/should score 20 a year... Not to mention b schenn and couturier, who could hit 20 given the right set of circumstances

I don't mean to be argumentative, I guess this is my way of venting about how everyone is being used. I mean if fans of other teams can see the potential and talent, why can't we utilize it correctly? I have to blame gross oversights on the coaching staff

thats what i meant though. every team could use more scoring just for the sake of it, but as far as the talent goes, the flyers are certainly better off than the majority of teams out there in the forward ranks. as far as answers, i dont know what you want to go with. chemistry, coaching, effort,....

As much as I love Grossmann as a rugged defenseman his puck skills are brutal. Seemed like every time, which wasn't often, that they established a good forecheck and got the puck back to the point, he was out there. And all he could manage to do was flub it back up the wall and that would be it.

Anybody without blinders could've seen that they needed a coaching change last season.

I know it is early but 3 goals in 3 games with the scoring talent that we possess is just plain unacceptable.

I wouldn't be against a change in front office as there is no long-term outlook examined with any move that this club makes these days but I doubt Homer is let go quite yet.
