You don't have to try and sell me on Toews. He's my absolute favorite player in the league. But he's not the only reason that that team has won 2 Cups in 4 years. The rest of those guys on that list are a huge part of why as well.

Alright, we all have our own opinions. I never said you were wrong or anything. I didn't mean to say I explained it, either. I meant that I defended my opinion against that idea. My point wasn't that he was responsible for their cup wins, only that he turned them from a perennial bottom-dweller into a playoff contender. I do agree, however, that it was the whole team that meshed together for another turnaround in going from a playoff contender to a cup contender, and winner.

That being said Terry Pegula is a loser. First time in Sabres history we started 0-3 in regulation. Only in Buffalo would we score a Billionaire owner hell bent on building a winner and end up bigger losers than ever. And that's considering we've never won.

Here's my last idea that is slightly based on alcohol for the night, all we need is for Darcy to fire him self. Seriously that man just doesn't know how to create a roster that will tank to get a first round pick.

I have a feeling that once this team finally starts to click they'll win with more regularity. There were a lot of changes made and I think everything just needs to come together still. The kids are going to grow as the season progresses. Hopefully the end of the year isn't as painful as the beginning
