The franchise turned around in 07/08 when Toews first made the big club. They went from 31-42-9 to 40-34-8 that year. It was already turned around when Hossa got there in 09/10, and Seabrook was there when they still sucked in 05/06 and 06/07 along with Keith and Sharp. Kane I can understand, since he came in the same time as Toews, but IMO Toews is the one that revived them.

IMO, Keith, Seabrook, and Sharp all played decently during the 07/08 turnaround, but they weren't having breakout/excellent seasons like Toews/Kane. By their previous stats, they were average that year IMO. Not much changed with those guys compared to when they sucked the year before. The only big change on the team was the arrival of Toews and Kane.

love that florida, tampa and buffalo(sorry) are in the division. can feast on those teams while having battles with boston,toronto,ottawa.

Tim Thomas was the beneficiary of playing behind a team with stellar defensive play. There's a reason that going from Thomas to Rask made no difference.

I would expect there to be a lot more games like tonight's for Thomas this year.

We won't lose them all. With the talent on the team they could get it together and become competitive after 15-20 games. I'm not placing any wagers , but there is that hope. Team is too inexperienced at the moment and are gonna have to learn fast ...or fail.

Well like in the other games I think tuning into the 3rd only will make you have better feelings about this team. Passing is terrible as is defensive positioning.
