Mutant hornets. One of them can kill 50 honeybees per minute. So far 42 people have been stung to death. - PLindbergh31
why would hornets kill honeybees? |

When was Schenn so bad? In the Pre Season? Schenn was one of the best Flyer forwards last night, playing almost 20 minutes of ice time. Couturier was one of the best Flyers forwards in the Pre Season, but he wasn't last night. Pre Season is over. And right now, Schenn earned that ice time last night. We can differ on the line combos and where each player fits best. But I don't see what the Pre Season has to do with anything at this point. - MJL
When did I mention preseason? I meant that last night he looked sluggish, awkward, and weak. The only way he scored a goal was because he stood in front of the net and Lecavalier served him the goal on a silver platter. |

Actually they did. They terrorized Central America and found their way somewhat intact by the time they got to Texas but they had interbred with the native bees and were considerably more passive by the time they invaded the U.S. They are still highly aggressive but not as dangerous as the original strain. |

Does Rosehill get to wear his fighting armor? I mean, hockey pads. |

Not to interrupt the bee talk or rehash anything, but the Flyers handling of the Laughton/Hall situation is really moronic.
There was no need to waive Hall and keep Laughton to maximize the LTIR exemption of Pronger, because Laughton's cap hit is actually higher than Hall's.
So basically, the Flyers risked a solid 4th liner, good face off man and penalty killer in order to have Scott Laughton wear a nice suit and get introduced to the crowd before last night's Leafs-Flyers game.
