Don't forget that they succeeded while playing easier minutes against lower quality of competition than the others though. Give Gardiner 17-18 minutes of easy time rather than over 20 mins of more difficult time, and he would also look extremely good...

Yeah, we're going to have to out-gun our opponents until one of the goalies hits his stride. We need a top 4 shutdown D for now. Finn, MacWilliam, etc. aren't ready yet.

This should be one of the better transition groups in the league; our guys are generally mobile and can skate out of trouble. The downside is that they are also inexperienced (Rielly, Gardiner, Fraser, and Franson have combined for fewer games than Phaneuf has played by himself), and don't always make the best decision.

Hard forechecking teams will be tough to play against. Lot's of turnovers. One thing I've liked about Rielly's game is that he's got a good first pass and can skate the puck out but isn't afraid to just chip it out when necessary. Gonna be a good one and I can see a Drew Doughty.
