It gets separated from the juice and just ends up stuck to the sides of the blender or juicer. The fiber isn't a chemical thing...it's a physical thing. (I know that sounds weird.)
- djamon

Ok, sounds legit, I don't need any more fiber anyways.

No, not really. I dont believe in that fluff and tuff. Either he is ready for the big show or he isn't. As important as his development is, it's just as important that the team hit the ground running with the roster that will carry them through the season instead worrying about developing players at this level and getting them experience. Just my opinion.
- systemtool

And he has shown so far that he is ready. To deny him a roster spot after earning it would not send the right message. Let him stay with the team a month or so rotating him in and out for his 9 games and then make the decision to send him back down. Rielly being on the Leafs will not only be for his development but would benefit the team as well. Gardiner needs the Cody Franson treatment and cannot get too comfortable. He needs to raise his compete level and maybe seeing Rielly, who is a similar player, will pressure him to raise his game.

a) Fibre, not fiber.

b) without it, your seconds will be less sloppy. In fact, they'll be less anything, apart from stuck...

You'd have to lick inside the blender/juicer to get the fiber.

And sorry about your sister.

Everything is a chemical thing.

Its just that our body cannot digest the fibre.

- lumlums

I'm not talking about the makeup of the fiber itself, but the process of juicing and blending. Juicing physically removes the fiber from the process, this has some benefits but also some dangers.

Then you're good. It's actually the best way to go because the fiber is broken down so it's easier to digest.

I typed fibre, and spell check says its wrong.I know its fibre, and I must get enough cause the seconds can be pretty sloppy.

This convo is going the wrong way.

A pesce-vegetarian I believe. Which, really, is someone who eats fish and plants, but I guess everyone needs a little name for how they eat.

But yeah, taking the entire vegetable or fruit and pulverizing it is superior to just extracting the juice, no question.

With all due respect to Rielly, my point is that he stays all season or he goes back. This 9 game crap is nonsense, and while it helps Rielly, its not exactly whats best for the team. Especially if he gets sent down, messing with chemistry and having a rusty player fill his spot.

Im not argueing the positives Rielly can take out of this, but it's being over blown as to how much it would actually mean to his development. On top of that, we have a log jam already on D and this might not be a good time to burn a year on his entry level deal. Let the kid go back and a spot will be waiting for him next year.

We all assume Rielly will play and shine, but what if he falters or isn't able to handle the regular season. Hard to take much positives from that. Besides, we are kind of short on defensive dmen and Rielly doesn't help much there. We've got enough fire power back there.

Nobody ever follows the rules completely, in any walk of life. We'll im sure some of the freaks and zealots do, but those people are never normal anyways.

He very well could falter and if that is the case you send him down before you burn the year. Carlyle is going to be rotating defensmen in and out of the lineup regularly whether Rielly is there or not. It keeps the player's play honest knowing that the guy in the press box is working hard to take their spot. Fact is, Rielly has earned his spot and will play his 9 games. He has earned it! But just because he has made the team now doesn't mean the battle to stay is over. No defensmen on that roster is safe and that's a good thing.

Seems like a lot of uncertainty and roster shuffling. Send him down, let him develop. Patience is key here. If he has earned his spot, then bypass the 9 games, otherwise he hasn't earned (frank) all. Let him battle next season for playing time.

We've been taking our time with our prospects lately and it seems to be working fine. Let's keep it up. This yo-yo crap isn't whats best for anybody.

Yeah that's the one I was talking about because vegetarians were originally started, I believe, because they thought it was cruel to eat animals so then they make a new one to eat some animals which completely throws the initial reasoning for vegetarians out the window.

I havent seen the list, and by the sounds of it, it's not worth the bother.

Speaking of projections, have TSN, SI, ESPN, HockeyNews, Bleacher Report and Sportsnet all picked the Leafs to miss the playoffs yet?

Most of the vegetarians I know abstain from meat because of the treatment of them. Fish aren't really subjected to cruelty during the process.
