Not much point in dressing him and having him stapled to the bench. If he's dressed he'll play a regular shift, IMO. Even if it's only 14 minutes.

I don't think 7 d works.

Someone will have to miss their turn and then what? How can you judge if they aren't playing??

If they give him more than 9 games he obviously earned it.... means he is playing well so I hope not.... people (maybe not you) keep comparing this to Schen but he is a totally different player and a year older than Schen was when he came up.....

If they're keeping him around they'll probably dress 7 for the 9 games he's here.

I believe your argument against keeping rielly was to allow him to develop slowly... I think giving him 9 games I a great way to do this. Let him test the waters and see how things go. He played very well in pre-season, but its not the same as the real thing.

the only reason it looks different is cause rielly is born in march and schenn was born in november

schenn started as an 18 year old who turned 19 a month and a half later
