Well considering we were on top of our division when Marty went down I think it might have been hedberg. What I watched last year confirms this.

Clowe can replace Clarkson, who had 5 goals and 8 points in the last 30 games of the season. Jagr and Ryder replace kovy? Maybe. Our goalie and best player is 27.

Kovi was a top 10 player in the league (although not great last year), I think it'll take a little more than Ryder and Jagr to replace what he brought.

Better than what moose was doing. We were giving up the least amount of shots in the league. Moose had a save percentage of .883.

And a lot of teams missed who usually make it but it is you few who dont usually make it and did that put so much stock in the demise of all these other teams based on 48 games but hold a whole other standard to you're Leafs in that same 48 game span.

no debating he has lost quite a few steps in goal, and right now his greatest asset is providing confidence in his team (for some reason devils play better in front of him than his back up-might change now with schneider in the mix) and leadership, his play has taken a hit

I'm really hurt by this, you're comparing me with Cranny? He really hates the devils, for me it's more of a mild dislike. You should even consider yourselves fortunate I even visit from time to time.

It will be tough but I don't think its unreasonable. Kovi was huge and that was felt when he was injured. But the biggest reason it was felt is that we were replacing him with Poni, Sullivan, D'Agostini, etc. They were doing nothing. Elias can create for Ryder. Jagr can still create offense even if he's slow. Either Tedenby or Brunner are likely to make the team and are both creative players. It will have to be a team effort and we'll have to rely on our depth.
