Not a leaf fan by any means, but how can you have 1) have the devils make the playoffs and 2) have the leafs finish below them when they are better in almost every position except maybe, MAYBE, goal.

Aside from Karlsson? I don't get it? Of the Sens didn't have Karlsson ok they'd be that much closer but the Sens do have Karlsson so it's a landslide. Forwards, Leafs don't match up down the middle. Not even close. They have the better top 6 wingers but far worse on the bottom 6. Goaltending isn't even a discussion.

Far worse bottom 6? The sens certainly don't have a better 3rd line than Bolland, Kuli and possibly Raymond or Mcclement. And for as much flack Orr and Mclaren get, they sure did a fine job last year.

I'm sure you would be a great coach, but I have a little bit of faith in the decisions a friggen Stanley Cup winner makes.

No biggy...but don't pretend you're offended when there's actually some real action in here.

Amazing how many non-Leaf fans are writing the Leafs off this year, calling last season luck or a fluke. You realize the Leafs came 5th in the conference, right? You guys make it sound like the Leafs just somehow snuck in last year, we were around 4-6th pretty much the entire season. So even if we fall off a bit this year, we can still make the playoffs in a worse spot.

The other nonsense is people trying to say the Leafs are worse because we "lost speed". Frattin, Macarthur, Grabo, out. Bolland, Clarkson, Raymond in. Is this really a MASSIVE speed drop off? No. Bolland makes way more sense as a third line centre than Grabo. Clarkson is a huge upgrade on Mac for the second line. Raymond is probably an upgrade on Frattin, but Frattin will be better in a couple years.

Leafs got better and people are having a hard time dealing with it.

Can't use Frattin and Grabs when talking about speed anyways. Frattin was hardly in the lineup and Grabs just skated in crooked lines and fell down all the time.
