Any of the Legal Eagles out there know if TT could stay with us for 8 reg. season games before returning to wherever ? Or is that just for kids returning to junior and not a pro league ?

Unless the hawks intend on carrying 8 defensemen, I'm pretty sure Stanton and Kostka will start in Rockford and probably spend a good chunk of the season in Rockford.

Agreed...BTW...Bolland with a greasy GWG for Tor in Ott tonight...in the thick of a crease battle and knocked one home. Leafs should be dangerous this year.

Not sure how their lines will shake down...but with CHARACTER VETS like The Rat and Clarkson signed on...and with the exam they gave Boston last year...if they stay healthy, the Toronto Maple Leafs will be BACK 4 REAL.

Khabby came on well after the meh start...but i always hate that cutaway shot of him after a goal...with that stupid look in his eyes. It's like he's shrugging off every goal with his cheeks under the mask and not his shoulders. Just want to punch him when i see that face....but i'd fall back if he offered me some Grey Goose.

the puck bounces out immediately and the other thing i noticed about them is that the memorable "ping" off the post is now gone. the sound is almost inaudible and if you do hear it, it is simply a dud

First goal got thru the "new" 5-hole. He was fine otherwise for an exhibition game.

Then again, someone will always be ready to b!tch about goal tending, especially here at the buzz.

I'm still not sure how the Hawks won the Cup last year with such awful goaltending.

Hammering the under. Anyone else impressed by Le blahhhhh tonight? He looks really good to me, I could see him getting a shot, he already got 2C duties over Saad tonight, thinks the game well. Obviously skating isn't great, but Hossa and especially Sharp need a set up guy and I think 14 could be it. [drinks koolaid]

The Hawks need to get Svedberg under contract. Other than TT he impressed me the most. With his height and long stick he reminds me of Chara who also took a bit of time to develop.
