I love it when the Sabres are considered bottom-dwellers.

They very well could be, but they might also sneak up on teams, as well. They are not going to be as bad as everyone thinks.

The D is passable and the goal-tending is there but there isn't enough goal scoring after vanek. I just Can't see this team in the playoffs unless they get good return for a goalie and all their question marks step it up in a big way. Top 6 teams in this division are very good as well, the east really got major screwed in realignment.
