Fans of other teams

What would you offer them on July 5th (or whatever the date is now)?

- IanEsplen

Nothing they'd consider

So they did close that loop hole, eh? Ah well, I wouldn't offer the Sedins much more than $4.5 per for 7 years. If they don't take it than no biggie cuz you could still find some decent players with that kind of money.
Its a tough call to sign these players because they are a package deal, there is no way you could just sign one. You would be committing a good chunk of cap space for the twins on the down slope of their career.

Signing bonus has always counted against the cap

Well if we're going by last years stats alone, Kadri is definitely worth $6.5m per year because he and Hank posted 44pt and 45pt seasons last year.

Who the (frank) cares about their age?!?!

- As_I_See_It

IMO you are only as good as your last year.

Burrows isn't big but is the rest of those things
- Bieksa#3

Burrows?

I think I meant somebody a little bigger..maybe somebody that doesn't get abused by Brad Marchand.

Burrows at 181lbs...just isn't the gritty/slashing/hair pulling monster I was thinking of...Burrows could step in and help out if Cory Conacher started roughing them up maybe

All right 2.65m...but for sure not 6.5 you would have to be high on bath salts to even use that # as a comparison for Kadri..he played ok last yr for 20 games or so...that's not 6.5 worth of playing is all I meant.

Are you ok? It was a comparison as to how (frank)ing wimpy Burrow's is..do you watch hockey and remember Marchand having his way with 1 of the Sedins and nobody on the line seeming to mind.

Top players in the world being abused because nobody on the line has any balls.

If this is the leafs offer to either he or Franson, I think its fair to say neither will play in Toronto again.

If I was Franson I'd sign in Europe for one yr and be a UFA next summeri

You think Kadri is worth more than $3m?

Serious question.

His numbers as per market value would make that a certainty

It seemed that way with the Canuckleheads...Marchand skated around smiling the rest of the game with no retribution.

If you kept up with the comments...I was just commenting how the Sedins would be great with a big gritty mean etc etc winger and somebody said Burrows fit the description...If you agree, well
