Even if you were in the right, you will still get sued and loose

This is why they should make LARPing a part of the legal system.

I used to love the boneyard when I had XM. Agreed on the vocalists. I think my favorite song (out of all songs) might be Number of the Beast. imo the greatest rock scream ever (controversial opinion in some places).

I'll take Aces High over it, but it's a good song.

I had no idea that our Canadian Prime Minister Harper was attending rookie camp. Maybe we can swing a trade with him for someone better

boneyard is hit or miss with me. they play a lot i like, but a ton of stuff i can't stand including fringe bands like Saxon and Viper (or Venom or whatever the (frank) they're callled) - way too much scorpions and rainbow for example. makes me want to punch kittens. then again, most things make me want to punch kittens.

can't pick a favorite maiden song.

I transferred my Rhapsody monthly account to paying for Spotify instead. I'm loving listening to the few metal bands I *have* listened to (love Queensryche pre-1997) as well as listening to stuff I missed when it came out because I wasn't into it.

What I find intriguing is that, after nearly completing my 1980's playlist on Spotify, I listened to just about every genre back then except for country. When the rap acts were Fat Boys, UTFO, and the like, rap was fun. Now? Depressing, violent, misanthropic, and repetitive.

We now have a girl at home that is terminal. It's just a heart breaking situation especially when they go young. She's a very small yellow lab and she's only 5. It's good to have people around to go through it with you.

MOAT, I'm sorry to hear it. Know that I feel that pain.
I still talk to them! I'll pull out an urn every once and awhile just to have it out more on display, it gets put back in the cabinet for guests. And their original boxes have become dice boxes for our tabletop game,
They never really leave.
Righ tnow they are still under the coach in the form of dog hair I'm sure!

It's strange to have her around knowing that she has so little time really. I'm enjoying sitting with her watching tv like always and seeing her sleeping in the sun on the deck but I know it's just days now before we have to make a call. I'm glad we got her out of the hospital so she could be home.

I could do with less Scorpions and AC/DC greatest hits on Boneyard. Also every once in awhile, they'll mix in goofy stuff like Angel Witch (not a fan but they always reminded me of Spinal Tap, especially their song "Angel Witch").

Hey now LARPing is actually just a giant meat market for geeks. Those with a tiny modicum of social skill or are female walk out with more tail from a LARP than you would EVER imagine.
Besides it helps on those good ole acting skills.
Although paper-rock-scissors to resolve issues in our legal system might be an improvement.
Of course, might not.

It's reassuring that the geeks who are actually the people intelligent enough to keep society running have a place to go where they can reproduce.

It's one of the worst feelings being able to not help. I lost my 2 year old golden retriever and 15 year old sister the same year. Both to cancer. Life can be so cruel at times

For me the greatest Maiden song is actually 7th Son of a 7th Son or Revelations...

Good god man..did you just mention Venom in the same sentence with Saxon ¿ Cronos is coming to beat you up...

While this is Immortal and not Venom it's always a good time for a sufficiently silly over the top black metal pic..

And now, the Top 10 Rookie Seasons in Flyer’s history (based only on regular season play):

10. Mel Bridgman 75-76 80 23 27 50 +22
Bridgman stepped right into the lineup of a very loaded team and was a regular from day one, contributing on both the pp and the pk.

9. Peter Zezel 84-84 65 15 46 61 +22
Zezel stepped right onto the 1st team pp and was Tim Kerr’s main set-up man that year. He also added some size and skill up the middle for what was the youngest team in the NHL that season.

8. Bobby Clarke 69-70 76 15 31 46 +1
While Clarke put up decent numbers on a mediocre team bereft of offensive talent, it was his hard nose play and never quit on a play desire that jumped out from day one. You knew right away that this skinny kid with the gap tooth grin was going to be a very special player.

7. Brian Propp 79-80 80 34 41 75 +45
Propp jumped right into the top 6 on a very good team and put up huge numbers that season. His 2 way play really stood out for a rookie as his +45 attests. He was mainstay on both the pp and pk from day 1.

6. Dave Poulin 83-84 73 34 41 75 +31
At 25, Poulin was a little older than most rookies, but that does not take away from his fine rookie season. Poulin, who played left wing for most of that season, was a well rounded impact player and showed the type of leadership and grit that made him such a good captain for so many years.

5. Jimmy Watson 73-74 78 2 18 20 +33
While his offensive numbers were always modest, what really jumps out is the +33. Watson stepped right into the Flyers top 4 D as a rookie and when you consider that they were one, if not the best defensive team in the league, it was a truly remarkable accomplishment.

4. Mikael Renberg 93-94 83 38 44 82 +8
The Flyers all time leading rookie scorer, Renberg was an impact player as soon as he hit the ice. Being a +8 on a generally bad team is no easy accomplishment either. He was a pleasure to watch that season.

3. Eric Lindros 92-93 61 41 34 75 +28
Only Teemu Selanne’s ridiculous 76 goals kept Lindros from winning the Calder that year. The Big E was a terror for opposing Dmen from the opening of the season and if he had not missed 23 games with injuries, the Flyers would have almost certainly made the playoffs that season.

2. Bill Barber 72-73 69 30 34 64 +10
Barber actually started the season in the AHL, but was brought up at the end of October and never looked back. He was quickly put on the top line with Clarke and Bill Flett and he contributed on both the pp and pk. He played like a veteran from day 1 and never gave less than 100 percent.

and at #1…..

1. Ron Hextall 86-87 66games 37 wins, 3.00 avg and a save % of .902
It’s a crime that Hexy didn’t win the Calder trophy to go along with his Vezina and Conn Smythe that season. His numbers were excellent for the era he played in and for a rookie goalie to handle the type of workload he handled for a contending team was just amazing! Next to Parent’s 2 cup winning seasons, I believe Hextall’s rookie year was the 3rd best season any Flyers goalie ever had.

Just missed the cut:
Pelle Eklund 85-86 70 15 51 66 -4
Mike Ricci 90-91 68 21 20 41 -8
Simon Gagne 99-00 80 20 28 48 +11
Jeff Carter 05-06 81 23 19 42 +10

When I saw them, they played a lot of 7th Son stuff. Pretty awesome. I went not really knowing their catalog all that well, and became a big fan. I think the set was about as perfect as it could have been.

Also, I think Blind Guardian and Manowar are my favorite metal bands, and I wish Finntroll could write more songs like Trollhammaren.

How about Skeleton Witch? I've yet to hear them, but it's a pretty awesome name. It seems like you just take 2 somewhat evil words and put them together, and BAM! metal name.
