It's also extremely dangerous. There are attacks (physical and sexual) and security may call an ambulance but they won't call the police (they don't want it on the record how bad it gets). So it's like a little paradise for gibrones who want to misbehave. It's not a place I'll go (and I'm not their target demographic anyway) but it's also not a place young people should go without a serious posse.

Really suprised to hear that. They open themsleves to serious liable issues by not being willing to call the Police for obvious crimes committed.

Am I the only one who remembers the week long stretch where Gervais was a beast before he got hurt?

Yikes! I disliked it for the reasons jmatch provided, but now I definitely won't be going back!

I hope your joking. Gervais is the exact opposite of a beast.

Speculation. I'm going to need some solid sources to back up your claims.

The whole sports complex landscape has gotten dangerous. Too many idiots trying to live up to a "tough" Philadelphia fan image. It used to be just eagles games at the vet but now people get killed at phillies games .

This isn't a problem unique to Philadelphia. I've seen the same/similar behavior travelling to other cities.

True.

I would imagine that whole complex is a nightmare, insurance-wise.

I wouldn't go so far as to say "a beast", but Gervais definitely looked like a solid NHL defenseman when Lavvy simplified things after every just about everyone got hurt.

I just dont see how that has any correlation to the sports fans or its teams or the complex being a "bad" place to be. Thats typical bar behavior and poop that can happen at any bar at any part of town or any city in the U.S.

Beastly by Gervais' standards is what I meant. Personally, I feel like he'd be a perfect #7

Maybe thats the problem, a portion of the fan bases act like the stadiums are just that, bars. A sporting event should largely be a family affair, not a drunken boys night out.

In my opinion Gervais is fine as a part time 6/7 defenseman.

Well, personally I always drink at the games. I always seem to make it home safe and I also dont beat people to death.

I'm sure you're a responsible adult and dont behave that way, but I bet pele said something similar on nov 10 1985 also.

Assuming they're both healthy, would you have him ahead of MAB on the depth chart?

There are people who can be reasonable and enjoy some drinks responsibly. Unfortunately, there are too many frat boys/bros at games who can't.
