I agree with not trading Read. But signing Cleary over Gagne, makes little sense to me. Gagne is the much better player in my opinion.

Gagne was the much better player, but injuries have taken their toll. Cleary stays healthy, and has been a pretty consistent 15-20 scorer who plays with grit and a solid two way game over the last 5 or 6 years.

I don't think he was the much better player, I think Gagne still is over Cleary. Cleary is as much in decline as Gagne is. And Gagne looked like he had more in the tank last year. I don't want to sign either of them to be truthful. But if I have to choose, I'll take Gagne. Gagne if need be, can still play on a top scoring line if an injury occurs.

Ive been playing guitar for close to 30 years, and I still find new things in those Beatles and Zeppelin songs. As the newer redone tracks come out, all that stuff that you never heard on the original recording just jumps out at you.

Then I say...oh that is where this or that band got that lick, or riff, or chord inversion......from these Beatles tunes....

There has been nothing played since that the Beatles didn't already do.

They should be right up there with Mozart as composers.

And Paul's voice (and each of them in his own way) was pure.

I'm not at all a Beatles fan. I don't care for the majority of their music. But nobody can deny their role in music history, or the immense talent they possessed. Paul McCartney, may be the best musician in the history of recorded music. He can play it all. Bass, Guitar, Piano, Drums, etc.
