Screw those rankings. I love the current Jersey. Keep this way and use the purple third jersey. |

Those rankings are stupid... It's just some Zorche's opinon.
Anyway, as a whole, I really like the King's jersey... I'd like to see what it would look like with this logo though... I'm far too lazy to photoshop

The King's jerseys are bada$$. Maybe I'm just nostalgic for the Gretzky days but I don't see how you can go wrong with black and grey on white. It was smart to get rid of the purple. I wish the Blues would go a little more retro and lose the gold pin stripe. |

I think everybody who isn't a Kings fan pretty much agree unanimously that the Gretzky era jerseys were the best and we all wonder why they ever changed it. |

Way wrong on the Kings Jersey's. I like the current versions as well as the Gretzky era jerseys. They nailed it their criticism on the Isles alternate though. Who the (frank) is designing this poop? The captain Gordon jersey were hideous too.
By far the worst jersey of all time this steaming pile of bear poop:

The rankings are based on uniform design not just logos. As far as St. Louis is concerned, he still loves the logo. The problem is that he thinks the rest of the stuff that surrounds it is crap. |

Revenue of course. Changing jerseys every 2-3 years seems beyond overkill to me. |

LA whites are such a clean-cut, classy jersey. FAR from the worst in the league.
We use them for our roller hockey team, G2, and get nothing but compliments:

The rankings are BS - LA's jersey's look quite good. The Jackets in the top 10 - really?? really??
There's no way that Pittsburgh ranks above the Blackhawks.

back in the 90's when black jerseys was the rave, LA's jersey was better then what they have now, the logo stinks, they could at least go to a different larger crown & stay black if they wanted, but the logo is boring |

Here's a review of the logo from two years ago when the new logos were introduced, written by a graphic designer (a Canucks fan, so perhaps a somewhat biased graphic designer, but a designer nonetheless - though I found his rankings better than the ESPN rankings, despite not agreeing 100% on them):
http://hockeybydesign.com...nhl-28-los-angeles-kings/
The quote that stood out to me the most was this: "I’m not a huge fan of the purple from their previous font, but at least purple is considered a regal colour, which makes sense with their name. Black-and-white? Well, it’s a bold choice, but when the background for your jerseys are a clean sheet of white ice, black and white aren’t really going to stand out much."
While most of the review is logo specific, this speaks to the overall look of the uniform and I have to agree. From a non-ice oriented viewpoint, the colours (or lack thereof) are great and would look really nice on grass. But hockey is on ice, so perhaps a splash of colour would be appropriate. I say bring back the purple and gold as full-time uniforms! |

Black is so overdone.
I never understood why the Kings went away from the Forum Blue & Gold. It seems to work OK for the Lakers. |

I love the black and silver look. Too many teams use black when they don't need to, but the Kings have taken black and owned it.
Seriously, though, you're going to listen to what ESPN has to say about anything hockey-related, even if it's clothing? |

FWIW, the Kings are the only non-Hawks Western Conference team I own a jersey for, and it's a Gretzky throwback. I always wanted one as a teenager and my mom would never let me have one because it happened to coincide with the era when it was a gang symbol. I finally got one as an adult and still think it's one of the slicker-looking jerseys in the NHL.
I don't know much about clothing design, but I have graphic design and logo design experience, and simplicity definitely sells. The more complicated and detailed a logo is, the less memorable it is, typically.

Right? Didn't the pens sport those awful bee pants like the Steelers wore a few times? Those pants made my kid cry and hes not even a scaredf bees. They should be ranked last just for those pants even if there fellow steelers were the only pitts team that wore them |
