I think MacT didn't see Rajala as an NHLer this year. Which is why he didn't offer him a 1-way. Could sure as hell be a regular somewhere down the road.

I don't think they can even flee to Russia anymore, but Russia is their own little world anyway. The penalty was suppose to be if you break contract you don't play in IIHF events. So for some it wouldn't matter anyway.

I didn't read it all, but I noticed that the paragraphs were not too big, and not too small -- This was fairly consistent throughout the entire blog, so I appreciate that. Calgary is going to be a few years rebuilding. Oiler Have potential for a very strong season but we ve been saying that for a while.
