It's obviously Pavlovian Conditioning to KNOW that injuries will occur for this team... And thus your brain's immediate re-wording... But you aren't alone I held my breath through the same sentence.

Smart move re Wellwood
- BiggE

Now I see the full reasoning behind tendering Wellwood. This way he doesn't show up in Glens Falls, prove he can play well and get poached.

That's pretty (frank)ing creative. I'm interested to see how it looks when finished.

Nearly sleepless at the moment. DD coffee & Pepsi are getting me through the day. He's getting bigger and just started drooling. He about formed a bird bath under his head while getting changed last night. Fun!

Thanks for asking, Scoob.

Bill, I know you have been commenting on certain players and current and former staff in your blog on their birthdays... Well today is Keith Allen's 90th!

I remember those days well, sir. Try to enjoy them. I know this isn't your first barbecue so you know all to well how time flies. Before you know it he'll be out of the house starting his second year of college.

I have a question. Who puts a lot of stalk into last season? Who believes that every player was firing on all cylinders without a proper training camp? Who believes that Bobrovsky is the new best goalie in the league now. My response is, I don't.

My next question who, will we overrated Voracek and underrate Lecavalier? As crazy as this may sound, I still believe Lecavalier is the better player even age 33 and I would be a number one center if he were to sign anywhere else.

Good stuff.

I dont think we are over rating Voracek. He has been steadily improving over the last season and a half. I think his confidence is there. As for Vinny, I think it was a great signing, and he will be looking to prove his worth.

Claude Giroux is easily our best player but in my opinion Giroux has a talented supporting cast. Anyone of Vincent Lecavalier, Jake Voracek, Scott Hartnell, Wayne Simmonds or Brayden Schenn could prove to be this teams' second best player in the right situation and right opportunities.

It's probably going to vary game to game, week to week. The difference between Voracek and Lecavalier is that Voracek is just coming into his prime, while Lecavalier is going in the other direction.

Everyone hates me now in my fantasy football auction league. Its yahoo, so you're given 200 bucks to spend on the various positions. So far I've ended up spending my money on three quarterbacks--Big Ben, Brees, and Brady--and a wide receiver in Victor Cruz.
