I hope the caps signs him and when they do, the leafs will not be able to beat the caps.
They already have that issues beating the caps but it will be worse if Grabovski playing for them. - zazzle

Can't wait to see Cory Schneider get lit up with cruddy Jersey defence this season. They'll be in the basement and don't get to pick first round. Rough. |

Well... they don't have their 2014 first pick, and they aren't going to be good, and Cory will get lit up... so how am I an idiot? |

Sure:
5: Adam Larsson, your only good d-man- which your team only has because of aforementioned lottery luck you are seeking
24 : Bryce "cap'n" Salvador - a living fossil, he'll be great when he retires to the Natural History Museum
28: Volchenkov - Such an average hockey player. He's the nickelback of defence
2: Zidlicky - an amazing -57 during his NHL career, he's a keeper at 36 years old. If he were a dog, he'd be 157 in human years!
Then just choose between 29, 32, 6, 10, - they are so mediocre I'm not wasting any time on them.
And when you win the lottery, you don't draft. Because Lou sold the farm getting a player that ditched a boring and broke team at the first opportunity.
But hey maybe i'm wrong, who knows! Perhaps the Situation or Pauly D suits up opening night on D and you go undefeated with the third Sedin in net! |

Andy Green is a very under rated D Volchenkov is crap and I am not big on Sal but they play the system and it makes up for a lot of lost talent. I have never once said the Devils are a lock to make the play offs they are a bubble team but they are by no means a bottom 5 team. If 19,14,5 improve on last year there is no reason they cant be in the playoff hunt especially with a goalie tandem of Brodeur and Schneider |

You've lost too much depth at Forward and are so mediocre on defence, even spectacular goaltending will only get you to 11th in the conference. With home and home games against a stacked west, plus a competitive division filled with better teams, you're looking at a bottom 10 team. Sorry bud! |

Lose Kovy and CLarkson gain Clowe, Ryder, and Jagr. That is more depth. We lost top end talent, but not depth. |

Jagr doesn't add depth either, he's old as dirt. Clowe and Ryder combined might score what Kovy did... which was good enough for 11th last year. |

If you are going to dismiss anything contrary to your misinformed opinion then yes, I guess you are right.

Look you can crunch numbers until the cows come home, the Devils won't crack the top 10 in the east and will miss out on a stud first rounder. The franchise needs to rebuild but won't. |

Sorry that I disproved your opinions of the Devils having a terrible defense and losing depth. How about we let the teams play the games and not rely on misinformed opinions to make predictions. |
