Andy Green is a very under rated D Volchenkov is crap and I am not big on Sal but they play the system and it makes up for a lot of lost talent. I have never once said the Devils are a lock to make the play offs they are a bubble team but they are by no means a bottom 5 team. If 19,14,5 improve on last year there is no reason they cant be in the playoff hunt especially with a goalie tandem of Brodeur and Schneider

Our D is so terrible that we gave up 23 shots per game.

Lose Kovy and CLarkson gain Clowe, Ryder, and Jagr. That is more depth. We lost top end talent, but not depth.
