Definitely. Curious to if this will affect other players that Barry represents from going to Ottawa. I know that would be against morals and prob some laws but it will definitely be much harder to negotiate if Barry represents any other players who are thinking about Ottawa as a destination.

Even though he sounds like daffy duck I have to admit Murray has done a nice job in the personnel department. Loved the Bobby Ryan deal.

Whenever I hear Melnyk's name I can't help but think of Howard Baldwin. Baldwin wasn't a goofy loudmouth, but he certainly was a financial dope.

Sounds like it's getting personal between Alfie and the Sens. I didn't really follow that whole situation, but it sounds like Alfie was looking for a retroactive pay raise. That does not happen in today's sports (if ever). He should just shut his cake-hole and tell the truth....he went to Detroit for more money. It seems he doesn't want to look like the bad guy to the fan base, but the facts are facts, he wanted more than the Sens were offering. I also think he believes his chance to win is better with Detroit. If the Sens were closer to the Cup, he doesn't leave.
