That is so bad and so embarrassing for Canucks fans. We have some of the worst fans in the NHL.

Guys like Shinkaruk fall in the draft because of their size, it's not right but it seems to happen every year. But the teams that are smart enough to see through a players lack of height tend to benefit in the end.

Look at Chicago in 2012, a lot of scouts had Teravainen in the top 5 but he fell to the Blackhawks at 18 because of his size (5'11'', same as Shinkaruk). The kid appears to be the real deal and has been lighting it up for Team Finland this summer.

- DarthKane

Similar but a tad different. Teravainen had that late charge due to his age and many started pushing him into their top-10's, but realistically he was ranked around 30th for the vast majority of the season because of the late birthday. Shinkaruk was expected to be a top-5ish pick at the start of the season.

Ya, I'm just messing with you. Really excited hes playing for the knights this year, looking forward to seeing him. Based on your description, he'll fit in hunters system just find

I might buy something to watch him online.

One of the first things he said after being drafted is that he wanted to fight Lucic and play like him

Hey French you do realize you don't have to start rushing the top 10 posts.. the pre season isn't that close. I barely realized you put up the Ottawa prospects last night for like 9 hours while most of us are asleep

some interesting pieces at the top..but when a guy you just drafted late in the 5th rd can crack the top 10, there isn't much depth.

You say the Canucks don't have prospect depth but the players you have at #9 and 10 are actually #17 and 22 at the hf rankings poll with actual Canucks fans that see these guys play regularly. Are you not contradicting yourself saying we have no depth?

He is in the top 10 cause of his skill not lack of depth. I am not saying we are stacked for prospects but he is for real.

Schneider has emotional issues, he will be out of the NHL in 2 years.

Interesting how you seemingly only realized this shocking revelation after he was traded.

260 is too much. 245, 250 might be better.

Läck is a good prospect and probably a future starter.

Cederholm could be Grossman ver 2.0. Or what do you say Adam???
