Theres nothing to discuss. Nash is with the crosbys, the datsyuks, the malkins, the tavares', and the ovechkins...then theres the toewes, kanes, getzlafs, and stepans, and then maybe hall slots in 2 or 3 tiers under them.

Dear Oilers Fans,

This guy "Clouts" is making you guys look bad. Edm was always seen as respected team with a great history having the best player in the world play for you. The fan base was always looked at being passionate, loyal and knowledgeable Hockey fans.
Now you have this so-called Oilers blogger, that on occasion rights about TV shows on a Hockey Forum, that purposely writes up this blog with the sole purpose of stirring sh*t up. "Okay, you bunch of jackals: It's showtime. Please do not disappoint."
Now you have all these fans from the "un-interesting" teams coming in here ripping apart your team. As an Oilers fan, you defend your team by slinging back insults. This is stupid. There are better ways of creating a debate.

You guys should demand better material. I know it's summer and all but I still see writers like Yost, Meltzer and Augello talking about prospects, players and keeping up with team news.

Oh look... news on the Oilers worth reading: http://blogs.edmontonjour...ld-have-about-their-team/

Trolling at it's finest!

Calgary, Jersey and Phoenix make this list before a few others.

Toronto...

Goodluck signing Kadri and Franson.

I'd take Clouts over just about any blogger on this site. He's the Howard Stern of hockey bloggers, and he's here to create discussion (and he does that).

As you pointed out at the end of your post, there are other sources of actual Oilers news out there, and we're well aware of them... Members discuss those as well.

Comrie should come out of retirement and play for the Predators..Carrie Underwood and Hilary Duff would be fantastic in the stands together..

Seriously though, I have no freakin idea why you put the Blue Jackets that low, they got a pretty damn good team now..Gaborik, Horton, Bobrosvky, Ryan Murray, that Johnson guy, Anisimov..this team is going places..and it will be fun to watch.
Sure they got a lame team name, but wicked cool Jerseys.

I lol'ed alot while reading your writeup of the Hurricanes roster, made me laugh, thanks for that.

- oilers2k14

Already happened in Ottawa a few years ago. Comrie and Fisher on the Stanley Cup run Sens.

Well Cloutier, interesting list... Not too sure about San Jose, Tampa, or New York? These teams may be boring to watch, or are under-performers, but uninteresting isn't the adjective I'd use for those teams. I'd have put Winnipeg or Calgary in there first...

He's probably the most entertaining blogger, and that's the only reason I come here... Entertainment -- And to piss around in the comment section with members who are just as (frank)ed up as I am. I don't come here for hockey news... I can find that stuff on TSN.

Hey, I'm sorry, but of the Canadian markets now, you're in some rough shape... Calgary is a hockey Mecca and a great hockey town, but the state of your franchise, Feaster, and the general league "interest-meter" is shockingly low

The reason more Preds fans have not responded in disgust of this blog is.....It's True.
I have been a Preds season ticket holder for years and a faithful fan. But unfortunately this hits right on the money on all accounts.
As they say... Sad but True.

Once again Cloutier proves why he's the biggest joke on Hockeybuzz. He's been right about the placement of certain teams on both lists, but the patronizing way he goes about it makes it almost unreadable. As he even admits at the beginning, he's doing nothing but trolling for hits and comments (which makes me regret posting this). He's one of the most ill-informed, narcissistic hacks I've ever read. The way he talks about everyother franchise you'd think the Oilers had won the last 30 Cups and the rest of the league is garbage. I mean Edmonton is the most interesting team?! All their prospects/players are untouchable? No other franchise knows what they're doing? Gimme a break, homer.

If anyone thinks this guy understands the sport he covers you should stop watching hockey.

First of all, the "News on the Oilers worth reading" link comes from a writer whom I rip constantly because I don't think he understands the team. I can recommend places to go to read "better" info.

Secondly, it's August. Lighten up.

If you actually looked at what Feaster has brought into the organization for prospects you might change your opinion of him...

Rangers are so boring. Totally why the nhl gave them 2 more outdoor games this coming season.

Btw Taylor Hall jerks off to rick nash highlights.

I just question why it's taken this long and why it has seemed like a train-wreck at times with the clarity of the direction of the franchise. You did well in the draft and got good you pieces, but you still need a big FA signing too... I look at your roster and it's slim-picking's...

Financial reasons aka people from all over north america watching to generate the revenue aka people interested in the team?

It's all correlated, but you're trolling and aren't even serious so whatevs yo.

Yeah the Sharks are going to be pretty (frank)ed soon but I don't see how that makes them a boring team to watch. If anything it would be interesting to watch one of the better teams over the last few years unfold

This is amazing.how does one top "the worst blog ever" with an even worse one just a few days later? I see little or no difference between the Avs and Oilers except that the Avs have a more interesting personality behind the bench. It's too bad Clouts didnt watch any non oiler Hockey , then he would perhaps know a little of what he was talking about.

Islanders fans coming in flocks to an oilers thread to passionately bash obviously sarcastic rick nash trolling comments...god you guys are obsessed
- rangerdanger94

Actually, I come in here quite often as any of these guys can attest too. Get over yourself man. I gave you my honest opinion and you assume it's because I'm an Islander fan. The funny thing is anyone and everyone would agree with me besides a Ranger fan so in reality who has a biased opinion in this really?
