Number of the Beast should be played in every arena on a consistent basis.

If we are talking Blackhawk hockey, they need to play or show some good old Chicago 6 music. The old-timers will remember them. It was from the mid 80's and it was 6 bears and 6 Hawks. Troy Murray, Curt Fraser, and someone else were from the Hawks. Payton and Dan Hampton were from the Bears. They played some clubs. I remember a charity concert with Twist and Shout and Bruce Springsteen's I'm Going Down. They weren't terrible.

Ok Tom. That tears it! I enjoy your pessimistic blowout predictions in favor of whoever is playing the Hawks, but I'm going to have to draw the line at your borderline positive review of the Chicago 6.

I might be a little older than some, but sorry, these all just suck. If bands have to tune their guitars down more than one step and have excessive distortion effects on their guitars it just means they can neither sing nor play their guitars well.

A few suggestions anyway:

AC/DC - If You Want Blood You Got It
Scorpions - Blackout
Helter Skelter - The Beatles
Complete Control - The Clash
Right Now - Van Halen

Personally, I prefer the old days when all it took was Frank Pellico and the organ.

Other than the bolded songs you completely lost me by removing the Cult, GnR and others from the list.

Also, can't believe I bolded a Sammy Hagar song but that one's not bad; though I like him better on Montrose's album and the song "Bad Motor Scooter".

I know this is obviously personal preference and I like hard rock, just not a fan of most of those bands.

And I'll double down with Pat Piper.

No music - but his line-up introductions were lyrical.

That may be true, I don't share the same taste in music as most and my playlist more closely represents what I like to listen to when I'm skating.

In the last year, I've seen acts ranging from Lana Del Rey to Black Sabbath and next week I'm gonna check out LA Guns, Lita Ford and Ratt, so in my opinion there is a place for most styles of music...except Country, there's no place in my library for that.

They did suck. But considering it was a mix of athletes, it could have been A LOT worse. Besides, I don't think they had a lot of time to practice. I think it was during one of their seasons. Can't remember what time of year they toured or had the concert. So you saw it, too? Do you remember any of the other songs they played?

Sorry, grew up a Sox fan. But I do remember Pat Piper from the background on the WGN broadcasts. Melgard used to play the same song after every hawks game while a bunch of people smashed paper cups and made the loud popping sound. As I walked out after a game it smelled like beer and my eyes were stinging from the cigarette smoke. The 2nd balcony could barely see the 3rd period through the smoke after the tv lights were installed.

Well played. I was reading some historic articles over the last few days and it was high comedy reading where the author was defining terms like "Google" or the "Internet." Ahh the late 90s, early 2000s. Dem were da days.

My favorite was always "the information Super-Highway".
