If I'm Fraser's agent I'm holding up McQuaid's contract as my comparable. Pretty similar players, same age, 3rd pairing tough guys. McQuaid got 3 years at 1.55/yr.

If I'm Nonis I'm holding up a photo of the giant Ring on McQuaid's finger and a photo of Fraser's CT Scan of his skull - one of these things ain't like the other.

I'm guessing he gets about 1.25/yr if it's a 2 year contract.

there are plenty of guys who are more proven and better than Fraser playing on the 3rd pair making that (1.1-1.3) I don't think fraser is equal to mcquaid.

fraser plays more minutes, harder minutes, and fights. he should make at least as much as Orr IMO.
