yeah, said that yesterday. any veteran defenceman capable of playing a regular top-6 role (not an injury fill in but a guy in the top 6 from day 1) should be making well over a million. 1.3-1.5 sounds fair.

I read somewhere that if the player elects arbitration then the team gets to select whether it's a 1 or 2 year deal.

and orr is proven, where as Fraser isn't nearly as so. He shouldn't be paid like a guy that is guaranteed a spot when he's clearly not.
