I skimmed through this thread and I'm so glad the big issue right now is about Fraser and Liles as depth players rather than about, say Jason Blake or and Toskala as core players. Man this is a more promising team and farm system than it was...

Also as per the above, Kulemin is a beast and an unsung hero, I love this guy.

I seriously doubt we have all 4 of Rielly, Gardiner, Phaneuf and Franson.

Really do wonder how Dion would be if Rielly is the #1 and he's allowed to just be the #2 guy and play a more defensive game without having to push the offense too.

but I don't see him getting anywhere near 20G given the line and role he'll have, and he'd have to have a big bounce back to get that.

But he's not a 7 G guy, despite what some have convinced themselves. Last year on Kadri's line the offense came back. He's only 1.5 season removed from his 30G year, and should be good for 15G regularily.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. With Phanuef set to be a UFA next summer, this will likely be Dion's season in TO if he's not willing to sign for less. So come next season's trade deadline, Nonis has a VERY important decision to make: trade him at the deadline or let him walk for nothing?
