If you look at the Cpt's post near the top on his page, he posted that as a response to her, at which point a few of us agreed....I suppose the piling on was too much for her to take. I do believe there was a reference about this blog . Unfortunately there's nothing to quote since it's all been ....eliminated.

She knows and has known. You can't post blogs like that and not read the comments occasionally. I'm sure she's seen the links referring to this thread, noticed the drop off in responses, heard the venom, etc. My guess is that she's galvanized from it all due to her media pass and connections. I also think that's ultimately why Ek won't remove her. On a site built mainly off of fraud rumors, having someone with an actual relationship to a GM is a piece of credibility in his eyes (likely). She won't be gone unless she leaves...which this could start the ball rolling.

Depends on what you consider "long". The Islanders are in Bklyn for 25 years. At least. I consider that to be long-term. Ratner isn't building an NHL sized arena in Uniondale if he wins the bid. His arena proposal is smaller than that. Plus, why would they want to move the Isles out of the five boroughs and away from corporate sponsorship and mass transit back to a place with no corporate sponsorship and no mass transit in Nassau?

Because he would want a tenant that will draw in his new building, The building in Brooklyn can not be "changed" into an NHL arena without major construction.
He's not going to tip his hand that the Isles could/would come back because the building without a potential major tenant is worth considerably less & he could buy it for that much lower price. If his plan doesn't work, he & Wang still have the team in Brooklyn and he redesigns it with the money he saves from losing the NVMC bid & knowing there isnt another option for the Isles.

I dont think anyone expected Dolan to throw his hat in the NVMC picture & ultimately he may even win this whole thing.
