We were all pretty shaken up about it. The entire hockey world was sad to see it end that way. Just hate to see that happen to a good guy like Dion Phaneuf. - hankthetank
He was exposed a couple of times in that series... |

If you take the Canucks to win you get $1600 on a $100 bet.
If you take the Leafs to win you get $1500 on a $100 bet, therefore worse odds.
Explain yourself ScoobyDoo - JLO961
13/1 are better odds than 33/1.
Odds on them winning, not odds on how much money you make on the bet.
Have you ever placed a bet? Wow |

only one of those statements has the possibility of being correct. I'm fairly sure Toronto is ahead of Vancouver on most "favorites" gambling sites. Canucks do not have a very deep prospect pool (says a Flames fan)
but yeah.. Lou will probably start. - j.henderson
Bet365 is the only bookmaker that has the Leafs ahead of the Canucks in their Stanley Cup odds. |

BS, I went to three off a google search and not one had the leafs ahead. - rune_74
I will go back on my statement. Most Las Vegas gambling sites give Vancouver somewhere around 12-1 to 15-1 odds. It was only BET365 and a few other British gambling sites that gave better odds to the Leafs. I was looking at a few blogs which made reference to the same sites.
that being said... I would bet money on Toronto winning the cup over Vancouver any day. ESPECIALLY if its a better pay out. Some sites are paying 30-1 odds for Toronto. That could be nice. |

Schneider benefited from playing behind the best defensive line up in the league the last couple years. He's going to be in for a surprise when he doesn't have guys like Hamhuis, Bieksa, Edler and Garrison infront of him. That's if he even gets a chance to play. He'll be backup in NJ to Marty. |

Wow! I wouldn't trade just Subban for Lou [contract] and Edler [Subban is better]. Obviously a Nukes fan. |

A lot of people do. Especially those who will be cheering for Team Canada this winter. - j.henderson
Dude, do you even watch hockey??? Luango is average...he has folded so many times against the Hawks in the past. The Bruins shell-shocked him . Heck even the Nucks benched him to ride Schneider in the playoffs.
Truth is Canada is stacked, and ANY goalie they put in...Louie, Carey, Crawford, Holtby, or Smith....will just have to be average. And average is about what Luongo is. And that ain't so bad. My Hawks have won 2 Cups the last 4 years with Niemi and Crawford....two AVERAGE goalies. You see, when you have a STACKED team like the Hawks have, decent goaltending can take you to a title. And Canada, sir...is STACKED. As long as their goalie doesn't lose it for them, they will do fine. |

Is Buffalo sending us Vanek for pieces and parts? Anyone that thinks Vanek with 1 year left on his contract is worth a Henrique, is nuts. We can't afford him. |
