Ok let me gague... I wont tell you if I liked these movies or not, how did you feel about Mama, The ring, and the Grudge. And please dont be one of those that says the right was ok, but ringu was better...
- youarewrong

The Ring had 1 scary scene, when they showed the girl in the closet with the messed up face. I've never seen Ringu, but I always thought The Ring was overhyped. Not bad, but overhyped.

The Grudge, again, had a scene or 2 that were scary, and the rest of it was boring. I never felt any suspense throughout the entire thing.

I've never seen Mama.

And the new Evil Dead, if you can stand the gore, is actually a pretty damn scary/messed up movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

As the Golden Generation's ending comes to a close, the underdogs that keep finding a way to give elite teams hell have one last real shot at glory.

Just a thought that just came to mind:

During the first round of the NHL draft, while awaiting the next pick, the crew had an 1-2 minute interview with the previous pick and his new GM. This was true of every pick, except Philadelphia. Instead of interviewing Morin and Holmgren, they spent that time discussing the NJ Schneider trade instead. Do you know if that interview happened and, if so, is it available online? Just curious.

[quote=PLindbergh31]The Canadian Olympic roster is loaded. Seems like everyone else will be playing for Silver.

Why is Canada going with Luongo again? Crawford should be the guy.

- twpman

If Canada thinks like that, they wont win the Bronze. A few teams that can beat Canada without surprise for me. Swedes are stacked and the USA is a wildcard because they have goalies that can make any team look bad

What does Team USA look like that no-one is giving them a chance? I thought we would have a team that can at least compete with Canada...

The only movie that truly earns the horror moniker:

I will. My wife is really excited about that. I actually like Ghost stuff. I am a amature Ghost Hunter. I have some equipment, and go to Gettysburg quite often. I just don't like Horror in terms of Zombies, and gory stuff. Also, a movie has to be really well done for me to like it.

I'm assuming you want the American versions.

Mama was better than I thought it would be.

The Ring... meh.

The Grudge was a little better than The Ring.

Take away the gore and you have The Conjuring. Honestly, if it wasn't a free screening I probably wouldn't have bothered and I'd have really missed out.

The Evil Dead and the Conjuring were event movies for me. What a ride they were.

Mama was ok but I wish it was a bit different. Dont wanna say more at the risk of spoiling.

I will say the kids gave good performances..if they hadn't that movie couldve been a trainwreck.

I actually wouldnt mind being on one of those groups, but they are really hard to get on. At least here in Delaware. There are only like 4-5 groups, and really its not like those Ghost hunter shows where they have like teams of 7-8 people going. In a house 5 might be a crowd.

The Conjuring is the best movie I've seen since the new Evil Dead. It's scary as hell and I don't scare easily.

My issue is, where I live, I either have people that talk during the movie (teens) or talk at the movie (not going to say who).

...and that poop drives me crazy, so I either wait until the movie is almost out of theaters, or go doing a weekday I have off... which is rare.
