Ahh...no. Wasn't there another guy everyone was pining about when they traded Skille to Florida? That goalie that everyone was in love with....where is he now?

Finland hockey doesn't hold a candle to the NHL. Sorry.

- SteveRain

Finnish Elite League may not be the NHL, but Finland is a goalie factory.

And there's no way to compare Raanta to Salak, the resumes are not comparable. Raanta is superior.

and FYI... Salak was Czech.

If I'm not mistaken, I do believe tomatoes are classified as a berry, which would make them a fruit.

I will take the word of bloggers like EKolb.
- jhawk59

1) I'm not a "blogger." Nor do I run a blog, facilitate a blog or write a blog. I'm just a guy who posts comments in the thread, or comments section of someone's blog. From the looks of things, so are you.

2) Just in case if it didn't sink in the first time, I'm not a "blogger."

3) Refrain from calling me out or "dropping" my name in the middle of your posts. I don't want to be associated with you, or whatever thought or other useless drivel you spew, whether it be about hockey or which tablet you care to use.

4) If you feel the need to "discuss" a certain topic, hit the "quote" button and actually reply to the point. This thread is not your personal "blogging" dump site, but rather it is used for the matters of conversing, debating and arguing thoughts and points.

- EKolb13

Brother E., Could you share the link to your blog? Would be very interested to hear your thoughts on "All Things Hawks"..

EKolb,

I used the wrong word. Should have said posted to a blog. In the future, I will never use your name nor specifically refer to you. No need to associate with you given your comment. I used the quote button. I will again, but I do not plan on commenting often. When I do, it usually is about prospects. Furthermore, the tablets that have a split screen is new and a feature some on this board may want to check out. My comment on this was spurned by a comment about using a smart phone. Smart phones are difficult to post more than a couple sentences and touching the quote button can be tricky on their small screen.

I sincerely hope the rest of your day is a good one. Best regards. No intent to upset you on the post you complained about.

From the " I didn't know that but that's really cool department"....

I didn't know the New Jersey Devils have only had 6 players wear a jersey # higher than 34 in their history. That's kind of cool.

Then I increased it to the last 8 minutes about 599k times now I'm about

100, 000 tines thru the last 10 minutes.

I dont know about that 7+ minute mark. I would skip past Lucic scoring. After winning the 2nd Cup I now vow not to get too pissed off about letting in goals. You should have heard my friends and I yelling at the screen after that goal. I was really all doom and gloom. I know it is shocking, right

Interesting the Hawks press release from last week says that Ryan Stanton signed a 1-year-deal. But Cap Geek has him signing a 2-year-deal with the 2nd year in 2014-15 being a one-way deal. If true, looks like the Hawks are expecting him to be on the Rockford Shuttle this year then on the big club for good next year when Brookbank's contract is up.

Usually, Capgeek is on top of things, so I would consider the information to be reliable.

It appears Stanton is in the plans to be up with the big club come '14-'15. It's a long time between now and then, and things could change. We'll see.

I watched it again today too and the more I watch it the more amazed I am. I can't imagine how the Bruins fans must feel after that loss. Check that I'm a Cub fan too so I do know how they feel.

I've said this before: I've watched it many times, and I keep thinking, with 3 minutes left, about the Bruins fans: you only about two minutes left to be happy; and then two minutes left, and they only have about a minute left to be happy....

Yeah at times I feel bad for them. But how would you have liked to be Leaf fans? All those people watching outside. Up 2 goals with a little over a minute. I still wonder who we would have played and how it would have gone if the Leafs won that game
