I didn't expected Bergevin to do much this summer, the UFA pool wasn't that very exciting. There was Clarkson, but I wouldn't have taken him at the money and term the Leafs gave him.
I also didn't expected a total team overhaul, and when I think of it, it reminds me of the summer they got Gomez, Gionta, Cammalleri...so I'd rather see the Habs be patient and keep building.
I just don't get Brière though. I really don't. |

We're not bad enough to draft high. Other than Beaulieu, Tinordi, Gallagher, and Galchenyuk, none of our youth project to be more than role players/depth players. What are we patiently waiting for exactly? |

You don't need to have dozen of highly touted prospects to build a contender. The Hawks had Toews, Kane and Seabrook (Keith was already established). Habs pool prospects isn't that far away. |
