Everyone else posts bullpoop rumors why can't I? - Cheeseballin
Post whatever drivel your want, but when you start saying something is imminent it's a different matter. "I heard that blah blah blah..." Whatever. People can debate you.
When you say a trade has or is about to happen it is different, it's against the COC and I've asked you to stop. |

Wow, Darcy takes 3.4 million off Sweet Lou's payroll and cap while tossing him a low end prospect to boot. This trade would make sense if Jersey tossed in a 3rd or 4th rounder for the cap relief, but as it stands what a horrible trade for Darcy.

I heard a rumor that Girgensons is not the next Drury and that he, and I quote, 'won't be the captain'.
More to come. |

The problem is we sucked this year and got 8th. you may suck the year Taylor Hall is #1 instead of Stamkos. Its no way to build an organization.. Zadorov is 2-3 years till he is a rookie. I wanted Bo Horvath good two way player. Heart guy score goals. Leader. We pick 2 def. Look at the really good teams. They have great forwards. With 2-3 really good d. Not 6 good d and no forwards. Guys lik Ennis does not play on those teams. - hafgod
Cup winning teams also have a top shutdown pair that plays 25min a night
None of the young defensemen we had before this draft projected to be "Seabrook" or other GOOD top pair guys
Our hope was maybe Myers would develop into that, but he has more top offensive upside than defensive
McNabb, McCabe & Pysyk were also guys that we had high hopes for,
But really they're prob "2nd pair" types
The difference in the two guys we just drafted is that they are EXPECTED. By most to be top pair "shutdown" guys
They'd have been top5 picks in most drafts

No one follows that rule. If Buffalo1000 did he wouldn't have broken the Tallinder trade last night. |

The rules state I should ban anyone that posts an unsubstantiated rumor. I prefer to let people hash it out among themselves. What is more disruptive is if someone says a trade has just gone down or is happening at the moment. That goes beyond speculation and into "breaking news"
I'm trying to point out the difference between yelling fire in a theater and saying "I heard there might be a fire in the theater later tonight."
No one should pay any attention to any people with sources on this site, but if that is their idea of entertainment, fine. I'm not trying to bust your balls, I'm just trying to keep it to a dull roar. |
