Only thing I really was against that he did was getting Leino... That was just dumb

Why is Vanek still on roster.

right, well obviously some are going to rochester and some will be developing elsewhere. Zadarov is very raw and is going to need time. Rudhwel is going to rochester and mcbain might even be there or our 7th guy. Pysyk was silkly smooth this year, I vote mcnabb gets traded since we get two scoops of jam this draft.

That puts a "tough guy" on each pairing as well

He is to young for a NMC/NTC. It kicks in when he would become old enough for UFA status. For him it would be 26 if memory serves me.

Not saying its a good idea to take Tallinder back but from what people have posted, NcNabb didn't play all that well last year and wasn't a definite to make the team before Tallinder was acquired. I thought he has looked good as well when up but it seemed he didn't improve at all last year in the A.

I was thinking a forward also, but Zadorov dropping was too good to pass up... Instead of Zero "shutdown" types, we now have two for the future... Don't u think our defense is now set up to be pretty nasty for the future?
And by trading Sekera to pick Compher,
We got a forward that was supposed to go 1st round anyways!
Yes, still need work at forward...
But we had A LOT of work to do
One draft wasn't gonna fix that
We will suck the next couple years & likely pick a couple really good forwards pretty high in the draft

The problem is we sucked this year and got 8th. you may suck the year Taylor Hall is #1 instead of Stamkos. Its no way to build an organization.. Zadorov is 2-3 years till he is a rookie. I wanted Bo Horvath good two way player. Heart guy score goals. Leader. We pick 2 def. Look at the really good teams. They have great forwards. With 2-3 really good d. Not 6 good d and no forwards. Guys lik Ennis does not play on those teams.
