I dont think anybody on our team will have 70 points.. - BuffaloKyle
Vanek will if he stays healthy and isn't traded. But other than TV, it looks dismal. |

darcy was REALLY into him a few years ago. I'm so glad we had too many defensemen and couldn't sign him! - FIREonICE
I used to really like him.... on video games when defense dosent matter
Id take him as a 6th Dman who can play the point on the pp if we didnt already have two that can shoot into peoples shin pads and back wall |

Double edged sword there...
We trade him and people female dog here about that Darcy is a moron for not getting enough for him...
we don't trade him.... people female dog that Darcy is a moron for overvaluing him. - JVince11
I really hate the thought that Darcy needs to do anything to make or keep fans happy. That's not his job. If he does his job, the team competes for a cup someday then ultimately, the fans are happy. If trading Miller pisses people off but makes the team better, then screw those people. They will get over it. |

Buffalo fans for ya.. damned if you do.. damned if you don't. - BuffaloKyle
Do you remember the TJ Brennan fiasco last season??
Every person on here were saying how we should just cut him and that he will never be more than an AHL d-man. The next day we trade him for a 5th rounder and everybody here female doged that we put all of that time and training into him just to trade him for a 5th. "We could have gotten a 2nd or 3rd rounder with a good GM."
Ya.. now what has become of Brennan. He was traded to NSH and then NOT qualified. How bad do you have to be do be part of a 1 for 1 trade and not get qualified. Now he signed a 1 way contract to be with the Toronto Marlies.
a 5th rounder isn't so bad after all now is it? |

I agree 60's hes only got 70 3 times in his career. He really needs another weapon which has been the case forever. |

Agreed.
What made me mad was that people were on here last night complaining about how when Pegula took over the team it was supposed to be our best years and not seasons of misery like people believe next year and possibly the year after will be.
What they don't notice is that going into a build is what is best for this team under Pegula. It is the best thing that we should have done a long time ago. We might lose games but it is the right road to go down if we want to get good again one day. |
Ryan Miller played his best hockey during an Olympic year. Maybe Darcy is trying to add a couple veteran D and hopes Miller plays lights out and maximizes his trade value. Then again maybe Darcy is just doesn't listen to fans - toddkac
fixed
Don't fix something that isn't wrong. Miller played some of his best hockey the 1st half of 05-06 while trying to make the Olympic team. He was 20-7 with a 2.25 GAA and a .923 SV%. |

My guess is Vanek gets more ice time under Rolston, which is why I am guessing he will put up 70-75 points this season. I can see Hodge in the low 60s and Ennis somewhere in the 50s. |
