Last year I was pissed when Hecht was signed, and there were some around here who were trying to justify the move, or liked it, or thought it wasn't that bad. A month into the season no one wanted anything to do with him.

This year we trade for Tallinder. Some are justifying. Some like it. Some are saying it's not that bad.... see you in November.

i liked the hecht signing. the team wasnt supposed to be terrible, it made sense.

they were terrible and it was far from hecht's fault

Don't like nor hate the move.

Like the Sacco hiring it is a meh move.

It's a legal matter now. My lawyer advised me not to talk about it

call me stupid but I prefer to wait for trades, injuries and poor play to decide the roster.

What I dont get is how the angry sabres fans are angry that Hank sucks but want the first overall pick.....Things that make you go hmmm....

Myers isn't top 4 of anything. Unless you are referring to goals allowed per 60 minutes played. Then, yes, he is top 4.

He literally is better than every defensemen on the team when he's on his game. He will be top 2 on the team in minutes played just like he's been the past 4 years

Hank is being brought in hopes of mentoring and stabilizing the back end.....it is in the last 4 or 5 pages....whether it works or not it is a pretty low risk play.

I predict that the Myers/Tallinder pairing will be an absolute disaster this season. It might be the softest pairing in the NHL. After about 10 games, Rolston is going to be forced to break them up.
Teams are going to slam them with checking lines because they know that they will lose every battle and never push back. They'll be able to dance in Miller's crease without any repurcussions.

I understand that, however he is rarely in his game. If Tallinder can help him I'm all for it. I will counter that opinion with, I hope is is just as bad as he has been, it does get the Sabres closer to a #1 pick.

Do you let Myers fade away at the cost of a bad season or do you try and get the guy right in hopes he rebounds and is ready for 2014/2015 season?
