I will give you another little tidbit. It will come out,I have heard from numerous people that the reason why Grigorenko fell in draft is that he is really 21. His mom works for census burea in Russia, take it for what it is worth - Buffalo1000
Well that stinks then, because he could have played with the Amerks last season then. |

Haha sweet so he's definitely ready to play fulltime next season. So should we just call him Danny Almonte moving forward?
If Ristolanen doesn't stick next year, they're going to ave some pretty pissed off fans |

I personally don't see the move as getting Hank to hold Myers' hand. I think it's just letting him play the way he used to in his rookie year. If he's paired with Tally, then he can jump up into the play for once instead of being forced into a shutdown role that he shouldn't be in. |

I do believe if Myers played like he did his rookie season and the way ehrhoff played, you have keith and seabrook.they would of easily had three to five more wins is past season - Buffalo1000
Whoa...
That's overstating it a bit
Keith-Seabrook are prob the best defensive pair in the league now that Suter-Weber are broken up
Plus, very little physicality with the Ehrhoff-Myers pairing
With Weber taking on a bigger role, McNabb ready for a shot (hopefully?), an the drafting this year...
I envision that pair being broken up relatively soon,
By next year at latest
Ehrhoff-Ristolainen
Weber/McNabb/Zykov-Myers
One of the above-Pysyk
That sets up our defense quite nicely for the future

Problem is that Tallinder can't shut down a computer let alone young NHL forwards at this point in his career. |

I am sorry you feel that way but Darcy does not hold practices, decide ice time, make up game plans or decide who is on the ice and who is not. - toddkac
He does bring in vets which limits coaches decisions on who to play.
so if Darcy does bring in sulzer and Tallinder two less vets in lineup.
A GM decision............................... Unless the coach signs someone i think the gm may come into play |

Not true, the scouting staff and even Regier have been touting him as NHL ready. He's been playing in a high quality league with 27-35 yr olds. |

I don't think Hank will be Chara 2.0, but I feel that he'll be a really stabilizing force that will let Myers do his thing. |

Big deal and Seguin is a homophobe and hates Dallas....lots of players are prima donnas produce that's what I care about....If Grigs mother works for the census then why would she tell anyone...
If Grigs was 21 the why would he grow a beard putting his age in the spotlight...keep that face smooth and look younger but he doesn't/ |

its been too long though, IMO.
again, we're supposed to 'suffer" this year so play the kids not journeymen NHL's - Homer
Homer, I agree with you that McNabb should get a shot to see if he can play up here.
However, remember the kid is only 22. It's not like he's 25 and this may be his last shot at the NHL.
Unless a trade is in the works with one of our D (and I would rather part with the Hoff over any of our young D), hopefully McNabb forces their hand at training camp. |

Doesn't mean everyone should be mad if he doesn't make the team. He has never lived in NA and my guess is that will take some adjustment. No one should be mad if he doesn't make it, he has lot of adjusting to do outside the game.
