The fact that Myers needs his hand held is upsetting. I do understand that defenseman are hard to develope (ie Campbell) but are the kid gloves really necessary?

Myers was here for three weeks in June for conditioning and skating,he is in very good shape right now,they believe with lockout last year,Myers getting hurt and partying for three weeks in Europe,he could never recover from being out of shape. They will not trade myers,without giving him another year of full off season conditioning,that's why it was imperative to bring in a veteran d man

My main fear is that TP is pulling the strings saying "Myers was good when Tallinder was here...we should bring him back." Or "Sultzer and Hoff were a really great pairing for 3 weeks 2 years ago...sign him."
