yes and no to be honest. everyone seemed to think weber was expendable for the last few years. if mcnabb has value then it's more of a keith ballard or cory sarich type thing and we trade a young player we like but like less than the return we'd be getting back. assuming we trade one of the young guys, which i think is likely. i don't see why pysyk doesn't stay in the nhl, and i just really feel like mcnabb is the obvious odd man out.

Pysk the last 2 games was terrible. I know everyone wants him here but I'm not sold on him yet. He got walked a bunch of times. I don't want to rush him and ruin his confidence idk giving him another half season in Rocester isn't the worst thing in the world

...no. Ovi scored most of his goals on the PP, and Backstrom, Brouwer and others got going along with Ovi. Ovi did nothing different in the first couple weeks than in the last few, his shots were just going in more.

Is it just me or has mcnabbs stock fallen a bit? It seems like he has fallen down the depth chart a bit and I don't understand why. Was he that bad in Rochester last year? Two years ago we were talking about a Myers-McNabb pairing for the next decade and now he's still a lock to start in Rochester.

His skating is atrocious I'v seen him play quite a bit.

With the solid mix of youth, age, underachieving and mediocrity on defense, I don't think anything is a lock. Half of the top 6 is up for grabs.

he struggled a bunch last year after the expectation was that he would thrive. we also got two really good defensemen that bring a similar style and are most likely better at it then him into the fold. this is why i think he's the target to move, especially with Weber getting new life last year. McNabb will probably turn it around and end up being good but we're better off packaging him soon so we can get good trade value for him since we don't even really need him anymore. it would be a good hockey trade, getting rid of an extra defensemen and bringing in a good forward that maybe another team has an extra of (i'm looking at you edmonton!)

Why would they bring in Tallinder to ride the pine? Myers still hasn't got it yet so his babysitter is back. You know Tallinder will play and Psyk won't. Can't have a team filled with kids, we will get killed.
