if you're the Flyers do you do the following? Would St.Louis do it?

B. Schenn., Read, Coburn and Morin for AP?

- jstross

I don't know if St. Louis would. But I would not give up 3 roster players. I'd take Read off of there. I personally don't believe that St. Louis is going to trade Piretrangelo

Don't worry homer hasn't met his AARP /publishers clearing house quota... I fully expect gagne on the roster this fall

Do you disagree with adding Gagne, Joe?

Understandable. Is it because of age?

It's a fun discussion. And it's fun to dream about adding a player such as Pietrangelo.

That and his injury history... Dumping a lot of money into either aging players or injury prone meanwhile two important positions are not definitively settled defense and goaltending have big question marks. Lecalvier helps with face offs but I have my doubts he will add a substantial boost to scoring, neither will gagne. Meanwhile we still have lavy's fire wagon hockey system which will do nothing to mask Emery's loss of mobility. This season might be worse than the last one.

I think its more fun when you root for a team were they have proven that they will do everything to obtain that player....

Are those your actual pairings? Pietrangelo would without a doubt be 1st pairing

Timonen - Pietrangelo
Streit - Schenn
Grossmann - Gustafsson

- JAKEw1234

Personally I think Kimo should be 2nd pair. Think you have to limit his ice time to keep him healthy and fresh. Injuries are taking its toll and he is getting up there in age.

Sorry I lost my orange goggles at one of the multi goal lead turn to loss games this past season. The flyers front office can't help itself and this year looks to be a huge wake up call.

I'm hoping that if they do re-sign Gagne, it's for a one year deal. Which wouldn't affect any long term moves.

Ok so they went out and bought the "best" goalie on the market signed him to a ridiculous deal and it blew up in their face...Now they have two guys fighting for jobs that arent costing them anything and that not good enough either... your missing the Leighton Boucher years arent ya

Same here. I'd re-sign Gagne if I had the Cap space available for a one year deal. After any other moves that would be better for the long term success of the team, were explored, and determined to not be available to be made.

I'd rather them just hold onto the cap space and roster slot in case someone that is really worth it becomes available. Just a year ago we were talking about letting the team grow etc now we got old real fast... I'm worried and the redundancy of these moves is frustrating.

I wouldn't spend more than 1-1.2M per

Anything over that I would move on.

If gagne gets two years. It better be for no more than 1.3 per
