I'd be shocked if Ryan does not end up much closer to the west coast when all is said and done.
I still say he ends up in St. Louis.

- BuffaloHardHat

He is so damn ugly and pale, i can only hope he winds up somewhere that will allow him to get a tan. Also the per capita ratio of plastic surgeons to people, is far greater on the west coast, and it's really his only option.

Hmmmmmm, I guess it was rude for me to pull my chair up to the buffet table...

Well i think what really got them mad was when you started double dipping your crust into the bucket of ranch on the salad bar.

I didn't double dip, although I guess it was rude to drink from the ranch bucket...

Still think Miller ends up in Vancouver.
Islanders don't have anything in the cupboard that Buffalo would want unless it starts with Tavares or their recent 1st round picks last year and this year....and that would be a major move of multi players

Miller, Stafford, Gerbe for Luongo, Gaunce, Booth and Edler.
This makes the most sense to me.

This may be the only kind of deal that matches money for money....and Vancouver would have to look at it very closely because the Luongo contract will still be there for them to deal with next year and with no goalie...where as Buffalo could do the compliance buyout on Loungo next year if he does not do well and Garret and Enroth send him to the showers.

If anything is going to happen it would have to happen today because of the complaince buyout stuff. The fact that Gerbe is on waivers and Buffalo was not palnning to do a buyout bumps this possibility up.

ROFL, you don't have anything in your organization you could make up as a package worth Tavares. Keep dreaming sunshine.

Todd, I need 1 more emoticon please. You don't use enough.
Last time.
Ryan Miller will not be in an Islander jersey.
Ever.
Now you go back on ignore Todd. When you learn how to post without being a total douchebag perhaps I will engage you then. But until then buh bye.

2 of bailey, nielson, dehann, donovan, nelson, sundstrom, or a 2nd I would THINK would be enough but who knows...
- Dgmilazz

ridiculous overpayment for a 1 year contract 33 y/o goaltender who had the mother of all meltdowns for buffalo last season. No thank you. Unless the conversation begins with 2014 draft picks and ends there, I'm not interested. And by draft picks, I mean maybe a 2nd and a 3rd at most.

Interesting move on Gerbe - it makes me think Briere is more of an option.

Can you explain why Miller will not be in an Islander jersey next year instead of just saying its common sense cause nobody seems to understand.

I don't know if it has been brought up yet, but Jarret Stoll had a seizure today. Looks like he will be released today, but that is scary and I wish the best for him and his family.

maybe they're just going to reboot ala Gillis. And by reboot, I mean giving everyone a no trade clause, pushing the salary cap ceiling and pissing off their goaltender without a back up. Oh wait, wrong board.

name a package. It won't be enough. 22 y/o center leading his team in points every year, top 3 in goals scored playing with two cast offs as wingers on the first line. There's no combination of overhyped prospects or players you have worth JT. None.

OK. So you think that a 33 year old goaltender with a shatty attitude problem is worth more than Bailey and a first or Nelson and a first or even just a first and a B level prospect you're high as a kite. Don't even mention Tavares because that's borderline lunacy. Buffalo wouldn't be interested in Bailey, Okposo, Nilsson, Poulin, Strome, Hamonic, Nelson? Really? Either you have zero clue or you are expecting way too much for Miller and you're going to be sadly disappointed with your return. BTW Gerbe has been waived and you're including him in trade scenarios. Guess that says it all?

8 team no trade list.
Why on Gods green earth would he want to go the Islanders?
There, you made me say what I was trying to stay away from.
If you were a 33 year old NHL goaltender hoping to win a Cup would you want to go to the Islanders?
Not to mention trying to get closer to his thang on the west coast.
I just don't see it happening Islander guy.

No I don't. That's fine.
It's quite the opposite really.
You Islander fans seem to be having your feelings hurt by pretty much what is common sense really.
Ryan Miller has an 8 team no trade list yet you wanna believe the Islanders are not on that list. Okay?
And I never said he was all that.
I want him gone yesterday to be blunt but I just can't see him not having the Islanders on that list. It's common sense.

- BuffaloHardHat

Miller already stated he would not stand in the way of a trade. Okay? With that said I don't want that primadonna I can care less how great he is. We just got rid of one we don't need another one.

He makes ridiculous proposals all the time. I honestly can't tell if it's a joke from him anymore.
