The way it is looking now, the Leafs might end up with one of Ribeiro, Weiss or Clarkson, won't be two of them, not enough room unless a trade is made. - LeafMan
please ban yourself for using Clarkson interchangeably with Ribeiro and Weiss.
one fills a need, the other two just fill sweaters and roster spots. |

are Hemsky and/or Horcoff on waivers? - BorjeFan4Ever

I'd think it will be Clarkson or Clowe.
Bolland replaces Bozak or Grabo....
Bernier replaces Scrivens.....
Clarkson or Clowe replaces Mac
then, we still need to replace Frattin and Komarov.
Odds are that would be two of Colborne, D'Amigo and maybe, maybe Ashton.....and yes, I do think D'Amigo could score a spot on the roster. Just because a guy makes the team out of camp doesn't mean he'll be here the whole seaseon, but I do think they'll give him a shot, and if that fails, make an inseason trade. |

It is not need, it is who wants to sign with the Leafs, that is the reality of the situation nowadays. |

Players with no-move clauses have option not to go on waivers. Someone like Mike Komisarek may not appear on the list. - LeafMan
True but as of yet I dont believe Nonis has exercise that option. |

If they need to fill a roster spot at a low cap hit, he is the one, most tenure with the Marlies and has earned a shot. Still like to see Colborne to, he is an RFA and offering him a two way contract might not cut it unless the Marlies salary is a good chunk of change. |

David Poile says Lecavalier wants to play on the east coast? That leaves Leafs, Bruins, Canadiens, Red Wings, & Senators if that's the case |

I know I can't read into AHL stats, but his playoff numbers sure looked good, and his regular season wasn't that bad, 17 goals is still 17 goals. Not quite at Frattins level, but he's what, 3 years younger? |

I've watched a very large amount of youth hockey in the past few years... and I think what we are all looking at is a kid in an emerging man's body... he probably isn't very muscular at this point... and he's probably just gone through a pretty rapid and large amount of growth.
What struck me watching the video is his puck pursuit and his puck control and protection, both of which I thought looked good. His lateral movement on the PK showed some agility - particularly for a big guy. The finishing will come with confidence - and the confidence will grow when he realizes the other kids can't push him around or off the puck easily. - BorjeFan4Ever
Agreed. He looked like a smart player. Know where to be at both ends of the rink and uses his size well. I though his skating was better than I expected.
Saw him clash with mccarron a couple times on the video, should see that in a couple years. |
