Worst picks I've seen mentioned at 11. Just sayin.

I like the way Horvat came up huge in the biggest games of his season. Beyond that, I have little to add.

I'm sayin this one more time.

Trading your best defensive forward for a defenseman is illogical, contradictory, and pointless. I'd rather see Bschenn + go for a defenseman than Cooter.

He has a relentless motor, solid in all 3 zones, a kind of guy you want on the ice in any situation.

I think if you get Edmonton 7, at best Nichushkin can drop, at worst Nurse. It wouldn't be a bad move. Is it possible Paarvi might be the plus?

Just not at 11. I dont even want Domi at 11. If you want either of these guys, move down.

Someone will take Horvat by 15. Domi I agree though, huge stretch at 11.

I'd rather stand pat and have Coburn and Pulock than end up with Nurse.

I'd take Bo Horvat at #11 and not hesitate doing it. I suggest you do some homework on him and probably others in the draft.

I don't think he would be a stretch at all to be a top 10 pick if not top 15.

I just suggest you do some follow up on him, he'd be welcome on my team and I would take him at #11 if he was the BPA

I watch enough of his games to know Horvat is not just defensive.

Done plenty of homework... There are better picks for the Flyers.

I've never been this high on Horvat myself --I see him more as late first-rounder -- but several scouts are sold on the versatile forward as being greater than the sum of his parts, with his defensive commitment making him a perfect fit for the Coyotes. "There's not a lot of flash to his game," one said, "but there's so much determination." Horvat excels on the draw, and always finishes his checks, "so at worst he's a 15-20 goal defensive center who can anchor your [penalty kill]," a scout said. "But I think he's the kind of kid who has the size and net drive to give you a little more [offense]. His puck skills improved [over the course of the year] and he's got the eye to make plays in traffic."

Here's a full breakdown of Pulock from thehockeywriters.com. It has a list of his strengths and weaknesses, his ETA to the NHL, his estimated potential, comparisons to current NHL players, a breakdown of his skills, and risk rating as well as a reward rating.
http://thehockeywriters.c...3-draft-prospect-profile/
To sum it up, the think he's a very low risk, high reward prosect. They think he'll be a top 3 two-way guy and a PP quarterback. They give is offensive potential an 8.5/10, and his defensive an 8/10. At his highest potential they consider him a "morph of Erik Karlsson and Kevin Shattenkirk"

Here's for Zadorov:

Here's for Ristolainen "The Finnish Pronger":

Good chance three London Knights are drafted in first round, how would you rank them amongst one another?

I'm well aware of what scouts have said & he's very much worthy of a high pick. He wouldn't be my first choice at #11 but he'd be in he mix no doubt.
