I feel your pain John. But your team is pretty solid. Don't let a beat down by the Bruins change your opinion too much. Your team is good. I watch Boston against the Leafs in the forst round. They did the same to us. IF Chicago has any chance they need o get inside of Rasks head, and the way you do that is bump him. often. but he's had a protected field day. And stop the line matchups. Just play a faster game.
Good luck in the rest of the series. - Martin Cinzar
This is my old co-worker from Toronto . . . great to hear from you, Martin.
This is essentially what I've been saying, the Hawks have to get bodies in front of him. |

Marchand the instigator? Shaw slashed his leg and then grabbed him from behind.
I'm not overly bothered by the whole thing, but at least be rational about it. If Marchand had done what Shaw did, you'd all be calling him a gutless puke. - Dano819
Probably. Instead I'll call him (Marchand) one for going after Kane and trying to start with him earlier in the game. That rates as pretty gutless as we all know Kaner isn't going to do anything.
Shaw and Marchand should be a fairly even scrap though like JJ said I don't think BM wanted any part of it and was hanging on. |

I don't think so. Marchand isn't exactly known for his pugilism |

Easier said than done but exactly! They made the immortal Johnathan Quick look merely mortal last round. Need to do the same with Tukka! It's just fun to say! |

Haven't seen a lot of Boston games this year or followed his career that closely but have read that here. Not always wisely Shaw will go, but love him for it.
It was more fun watching Marchand give face washes to the Sedin's in '11. |

He drops the gloves from time to time, but it's never pretty. He "fought" Subban and it was pretty embarrassing for everyone. |

Hossa is no wuss.
Does not finish a lot of checks, but he does occasionally. Few players are stronger on the puck and tougher along the boards.
Kind of a dumb comment. - John Jaeckel
not really. think you'll find plenty in non blackhawk areas that agree with me.

Marchand was holding on for dear life. He wanted no part of Shaw. Which was smart. Shaw finally got loose and landed one. - John Jaeckel
yeah while marchand was lying face up on the ice.
as said before by Dano if marchand is on top and pulls that you'd be all over him looking for a suspension. |

I had and still have no problem with getting Handzus. But it was a "patch" on a blown tire. Perfect analogy, Al.
This front office can't make big trades (please no one bring up Nick Leddy—too long ago, a winning lottery ticket, the blind squirrel theory proven). - John Jaeckel
Agree....Nice pick up in the right spot and should never have been thought as of bona fide 2nd line center.
