How about we cut thru all the BS. As Barry Melrose said last night the Hawks just did not show up. The further BS going around about why Hossa did not play is pathetic. if they knew before the game he was out why wasn't Smith out in the warm-up with Brookbank and Mayers and who started the rumor(probably true) that he got hit in the warm-up. This team from the top Scotty Bowman to Q and his half ass staff should all be taken to task. The assistants should be fired and if Q objects then he is gone. I'm also beginning to think that they should trade Kane now and a couple of good big Physical wingers that they lack. Crawford is just fine!!! - Maggie
Better duck.. rocks will be chucked at you for those comments. And not from me. I agree. WTF if Kane? Where is the 6 million dollar scoring wizard? This is where you really earn your money. Nope.. stays outside the circles. To dangerous to go to the net. #19 is obviously f'd up and cant do much. Bruins are in their heads. Hawks look like a scared team. |

Toews is either hurt, or he forgot how to play even faster than Bolland did. He was bad tonight, really bad. I see no reason to expect him to step up anytime soon. - Ogilthorpe2
I really think Teows IS hurt. He has taken so many crosschecks to the high back[ top of the nubmbers and up] Det. series he took min. three to the back of the neck. Boston continues to do the same.
If I`m Toews this off season I get in someones face LOUDLY VERY LOUD and tell them to trade me now if I keep getting beat up this way. There is No excuse for someone not to step up for him, Shaw has tried and he too gets the same head targetting treatment. Hawks simplely play too clean.
Which leads us to, Why isn`t the league looking at the shoulder to chin hits Bos. has given Shaw? Or the intent to injure elbow? Regardless we have played with no energy. We have seen over the last 3 years alot of "Sick skill" guys playing a high octane game that leaves them out of gas when they need it most. Maybe if we could get some NOT SO SKICK SKILL guys we fans wouldn`t feel as nauses.
Series is NOT over but if we play like this any more it could be.
Does anyone know the channel for the Chicago feed? I keep getting the feed from Bos. [FONT ON] there ARE 2 teams this year |

Hey now, Carry on with your compliments then.
I love the Bruins, no I love the Hawks more.
You guys are great, no you guys are..

Pathetic. You talk out of both side of your mouth and are totally clueless. You can't hang with me. Now cut out it before I work you like a rented mule and leave with that dumpy stretch-marked mess you call your woman. I'll treat her real nice too. Take to her to Denny's and even let her have an appetizer. Doosh. - glove_was_stuck
Go play with the 'nucks 'bags in their barren forum. Man, I'll be happy when the kiddies go back to school. |

It's called sportsmanship. Something most of you Canuck burners will never know about.
Your team certainly doesn't. - tredbrta
Thanks ma'am. So let me get this straight
Sportsmanship is complaining along with the teams fans you are playing against in the biggest stage of the year, about a team and its fans you each played a couple years ago?
I'll have to remember that in next years playoffs, if I want to be a sportsman. If we are playing the Wild, I will be sure to bond with them through complaining about the Hawks, we can cry together while our teams battle on the ice.
True sportsmanship..thanks. |

"bigger in terms of playing style"
I am copyrighting this. This is my theme for 2013-14. - John Jaeckel

That's what she said?
Quite a few of you are acting like the series is over. It's only 2-1 for the B's. If they split in Boston, it will end up being one hell of a series. - Canuckleafer

Pirri and Leblanc are tiny guys who play small. Danault is decent, meh, ok sized, but plays big (a lot like Kruger, though Danault has more 2C qualities, IMO). The Hawks could use 3-4 mature, developed McNeills right now.
I hope John McDonough and his hockey and marketing flunkies are enjoying Drew LeBlahhhh's "youtubes" and his "mad skills."
More tiny is not what this team needs.
Same probably applies to Ben Smith. Good kid, marginal skills, small.
This team needs to get bigger upfront—and bigger in terms of playing style—not Viktor Stalberg/Brandon Saad "big" (which means 210 pounds on the roster and 175 pounds on the ice). - John Jaeckel
There was an interesting minor trade between the Hawks and Bruins that highlights the two clubs team building philosophies. The Hawks gave the Bruins Rob Flick a big hard nised forward who can skate showed decent skill in junior and who plays a hard edged game in return they got Maxime Sauve a big but soft more skilled player. |

Wow. You can really play those unoriginal phrases over and over again can't you?
I'm seeing a mix of sports color men and Richard Prior along with a sad, lonely, mommy abused, date starved, basement dwelling telemarketer (oops sorry, make that "host").
Now please, go back to your quilt making and hostess training and let the adults talk hockey.

Not many of those "play heavier than their actual weight" guys around that are available.
The Leafs have one in Leo Komarov - hits anybody who gets in his way and doesn't care who it is. And hits to inflict pain. Annoyed the hell out of the Bruins all series.

You ain't kidding. Shaw is a pit bull. Not afraid of anything. Im just ashamed at how this Hawks team has wilted and I mean flat wilted in this series. 19 is hurt, but what about the rest of them? WTF #4.. you are a big man. Yet you are running scared. One thing to lose... another to just pack it in. And #25!!! Jack hole.. just go away. Stand there and let a team mate get abused. F off. |

do you really think He would stand in front with Chara? - Maggie
I do. Shaw proves that no matter how small you are compared to him, you can stand in front of him. Hayes is bigger than Shaw, and I know they're two different personalities, but I think he'd do it just fine. |

Weak. Just stop, guy. You're (frank)ing lame. - glove_was_stuck
That's what you said to the guy who bought you the beer.... much later in the evening. Then he got out the glove.
Yuck! Really, get to a proctologist. That glove is still stuck and needs removal STAT!
Also, your hostess gig is coming. The saskatoon guy wants you to do something involving a swing so you may need to strap in to a harness. Better get started early. |

The Bowman method does not work anymore, just see the current Wings and Hawks to see why. that's why they have to put Scotty out to retirement and fire Stan. That would be a good start and then next get rid of Kitchen and Kompon and don't let Q hire his own assistants, pick them for him and if he doesn't go along with that Ba bye Q - Maggie
I agree that the Bowmans need to go but you can't have a GM pick a coach's assistants for him. I'm not so sure lots of fans put too much stock in a coach anyway. Get a pp QB with a big shot and ya wanna bet Kompon suddenly looks like a genius? |
