Exactly. But those aren't the "hawks" per se. The hawks have a very high payroll and medium ticket prices and a lot of overhead. Wirtz makes TONS...but if ALL he had was the hawks...they, like most of the league, would be losing money

It makes no sense for a company to show a profit unless they are trying to sell it. It also gives them even less reasons to raise ticket prices. Would love to see details on their expenses. My guess is there is alot of huge unnecessary spending and bloated salaries. Not to mention debt from the last 15-20 years.
