Well think season as whole was disappointment and how they lost without a fight. I think Boston is very good team. Most teams in playoffs are good especially the upper seeds. But I don't think they are the Gretzky Oilers, Trottier Islanders, Dryden Habs would hope the Rangers would be competitive against them in a playoff series.

If Sauer can return with full health and no issues, Staal become trade bait (Skinner?). Though, if he runs the "Lindros" risk, then he should retire.

Personally, I hope he returns, but if health is an issue, then he needs to think of himself first.
