To me Nashville and Phoenix represent great spots for Gagner to go. I put forth a trade to Nashville last night, but in your opinion what is a good trade between PHX and EDM? We need NHL ready D and size/defensive awareness with offensive upside down the middle. I think Martin Hanzal would be a good fit in Edmonton. Maybe Gagner can help Boedker get to that next step.

Yeah, different positions, but both guys play with a lot of heart, all situations and have skill. Similar size too, though Horvat is a bit bigger and could even add a few more pounds if he wanted.

He plays pretty big, but as he gets older, he'll probably throw the body around even more. I think a safe pick, but unsure of upside. Almost guaranteed 3rd or 4th line center/faceoff specialist/pker but he has skill too. Is it enough to be a top 6 center? We'll find out, but he has the tools, work ethic and overall attitude to make it happen
